Mineral Junkie Bites (Sticks) for Shrimps, Crayfish, Crabs, Snails (100g)

The media could not be loaded. I was concerned about the integrity of my new mystery snails’ shells (they were both flaky and slightly translucent). I started feeding these pellets and added miracle shells to my community tank, and within a week I noticed a DRAMATIC increase in their shell quality. I was concerned they wouldn’t like them or be able to find them, but the pellets sink immediately and my snails have had no issue finding them.

My snail and shrimp love this stuff! It's clean and easy to feed. Smells nice too lol my shrimp have no problem molting when I changed their diet to this and the snails shells are doing great as this has all the minerals they need

I put a few in these in my pond snail tanks, and in every one of them the snails go after it. I've seen crowds of pond snails around the dropped pellet, so they enjoy it very much.

If I feed this alongside Repashy or green beans it will be almost completely ignored- seriously there will be like 2-3 baby snails on these and MOUNTAINS of snails and shrimp on the Repashy and green beans.I buy it for peace of mind knowing I’m giving my inverts a “mineral” focused food.Will I buy it again when I run out? Maybe, maybe not. Maybe my inverts are just spoiled and this stuff tastes like toothpaste to them. It kind of smells sickly sweet that’s probably why my inverts are underwhelmed and so am I.I would give lower starts but I recognize the quality of this product and cannot give it less than 4 stars.

I have had the worst luck with snails. Mystery snails, rabbit snails, nerite snails, they all seem to hate my water. I stopped having fish for a long time and recently got a betta and a couple snails and got these as a last resort after seeing someone mention them on TikTok. I can say I’ve now had my snails longer than any snails I’ve had in the past. I give them a few of these a couple times a week (sometimes they don’t eat them which I think is a good thing?) along with some bottom feeder pellets and of course whatever my fish doesn’t eat from her food they get as well. If they drop dead I’m going to assume it was a me issue and not an issue with these. Also side note, these smell weirdly good. Like sweet celery? I kinda want to take a nibble

They’re a little soft and can crumble so I carefully break up a piece into smaller pieces before dropping some into my tank- a little goes a long way. I give them some every 1-3 days depending on what else I’m feeding and if the shrimp are molting. My shrimp and snails love them and it’s keeping their shells and exoskeletons healthy like I’d hoped. Hasn’t messed w/ my water parameters or made it cloudy. Little container will last quite a while- good value. Highly recommend!

Snails find it but most of my shrimp ignore it.
